Diving visibility forecast - looking for feedback from divers in California

We are a team of scientists and divers from the UK. We've built Marla diving visibility forecasts for ourselves but over the last few years it grew into a community of like-minded scuba divers, freedivers and spearos in the UK and overseas. We recently launched Marla in California and are looking for feedback from local divers.

Our forecasts are grounded into years of research and combine satellite imagery, weather, marine conditions and diver reports. You can find more information on our website https://www.marla.blue/

Main data is available for free in the app, but we charge a fee for premium features (to support our further research and app development). If you are a regular diver in California and are interested to join our beta testing team, please DM.

Any feedback would be very welcome, thank you!

Built a tool to move websites from WIX: Looking for early users

I have been a loyal WIX customer for many years, but they recently got much worse. I posted about it sometimes ago and found a lot of like-minded individuals (as well as many posts like mine). Thanks for your feedback and solidarity!

I built a tool to migrate my own website pixel-to-pixel. And I got a lot of interest in my network. So, I am happy to offer it to this community.

The main goals are:

  • Same look - the output usually looks exactly the same down to pixel.
  • Same structure - it can preserve the same page structure, metatags, etc. to make sure SEO and external links are not negatively effected.
  • Clean output - The output is a clean source code (HTML/CSS/JS/Images/etc.) that you can own with no external dependencies.

It works great for static websites with limited backend functions. If you are interested to give it a try, send me your website in comments or DM or fill in this form https://ariadnehq.com/wix#audit and I will check whether it can be exported. Thanks!

▲ 1 r/Slack

I am a co-founder in a startup. I analysed conversations in this and other subreddits (see my previous post and another one) and found a recurring theme around lack of discipline in task tracking and project co-ordination falling back into slack channels.

Some examples:

I built a tool that automatically syncs Slack communication conversations with the project management software: tasks are created, updated and closed automatically from project discussions in Slack. I am offering it for free, as I am interested to get more feedback from the users. Please, DM me or react to this post to get in touch.
