Parents told me that as soon they get the money (which is blocked right now) out of a trust in the US, she will give it to my siblings and I (we're talking in about 10 years time, teen rn but in my late 20s then)
The thing is that it's a lot of money, and my mom explicitly said "you can spend that money however you want, if you loose it that's your problem". This scares me asf tbh. Spending family money like a madman is something that I hope will never do.
I also plan to study and have a professional career, and do not plan to live or rely completely from this inheritance at all, only use it as a safety net

My parents don't seem to guide us much, that's what scares me, it's their detachment

What will I do?
