Look im not trying to point fingers here, but also I am. I’m a singaporean indian studying in adelaide uni. Since moving here a month ago (which is why what im saying may not be fully true) I have faced racism 3 times from not white australians but china chinese. Not even their country and they have audacity to be racist to other international students 😭 I am NOT racist to chinese, all my best friends are singaporean chinese, I love them dearly and miss them so much. I love their food and culture as ive been exposed to it growing up. But yes i do hate the china chinese that are racist to me. Even back in Singapore the china chinese acted the same way, expecting locals to speak in their language as if singapore isnt malay soil… All the projects ive worked on so far have been mostly with china chinese. Im getting fed up being excluded in projects atp because they just discuss in mandarin in front of me…
Edit: Im not racist to china chinese, i hate the ones who are racist to me, which happens to be more often than not.
