Went through 14 million alternate futures and in not a single one did this man sell me fine quality copper
Context: In 1922, archaeologists discovered a clay tablet in the ruins of Ur. When translated, it turned out to be a letter from a man named Nanni to a merchant named Ea nasir. Nanni was absolutely furious because Ea nasir had promised him high quality copper ingots but delivered substandard, low grade copper instead. They also found dozens of other complaint tablets in Ea nasir’s house from other angry customers. He was apparently a serial "scammer" of the Bronze Age.
