Hey all! I just picked up a pretty beat up GBa Sp ags101. I’ve recently begun tinkering and wanted a project to learn on. Just as a disclaimer this 101 was very cheap and in very poor condition (I wasn’t messing with a pristine unit.) Any how I was able to get the unit cleaned and working except for the speaker and it wasn’t reliably charging. I followed a couple guides and after testing it seemed wise to replace the charging port. During the process I managed to pull up a pad. I’ve posted a picture of the damage and I think the trace line is pretty clear but I wanted to pass it by some folks who are more knowledgeable before moving along. Also there is some corrosion that may be related to the speaker issue. Any help would or advice be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
