I think these fellas are my new favorite bird.
While I have always loved all wildlife I’ve grown a very strong love for birds over the past few years, mostly from seeing a bunch of different species at the airport I work at. Yesterday I was eating lunch in my car and I’ve noticed a pair of small passerine looking birds zooming around the parking lot lately and they happened to be sitting on my car antenna together! I checked them out with the Binoculars, then had my lunch with the door open and watched them chase bugs for 25 mins… then one of them landed right on my door and stared at me! I was so happy and wanted to catch it on video so I spent another 30 minutes sitting there completely still. Watching them zip around is honestly mesmerizing. They attempted to perch on my door again but were just a little to sketched out by me staring at them, I believe it was a pair of Eastern Phoebe however I am not expert. They are the cutest things I’ve ever seen and I love them thanks for reading :)
