1949 Mercury rebuild

Hello All, here's my current WIP an old model built for my dad back in the early 90s when I was a teenager. I stripped it down and have had to do some kit bashing as I had no extra parts for this particular car. The front and rear ends are from a 1949 Ford which I had to build. I chopped the roof about 3mm and I'm currently trying to get it back together. It been a fun process. Shout out to my dad for helping on how to chop the roof (he's actually chopped the roof of real cars and built real ones lol). I'm going to paint it a satin black with purple flames which I'm going to try to paint myself . Lol. What do you all think?!

Hey All,

I am building a 1949 Merc and I want to paint my own flames on the front. What type of masking tape should I use to do this? I'm guessing it's going to have to be pretty thin? Let me hear your input! Thanks

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew of a Canadian version of the website "80sTees"? I love 80s cartoon shirts and pop culture. I'd like to keep my money away from the states as much as possible. Thanks!
