Howdy y'all. Last time I posted, I was fully enamored with my boox go7 and I still am. It is a brilliant all in one device. The only criticism I could ever give it, is that it can do too much. Kindle, kobo, Google books, self loaded and LNreader. I sometimes get overwhelmed.

That's where this XTEINK x4 comes in. This tiny and I mean tiny device is so restrictive and limiting that I am reading so much here and there throughout the day that this device has become an integral part of my edc items.

It powers on in 4 seconds and I'm exactly in my last book. It powers off in the same amount of time. No touch screen is a blessing for avoiding accidental touches and I find all the buttons to be responsive and easy to use.

For my use case I only keep one book on here and once I'm done I load another one via the app on my phone. It works so well for the way I want to read. I read on the smallest text size and I find it to be perfect for my eyes.

Now I understand I'm pretty positive and this isn't the device for everyone (no apps, no backlight) but if you are looking for something that is a pure reader this could be a reader for you.

If you have any questions just let me know
