Going to get diagnosed tomorrow!! Any advice??

I’m F(20) and honestly so nervous but also really excited because I’ll finally get answers and hopefully understand myself better. I’ve always felt like there was something “different” about the way my brain works ever since I was a kid and I’m relieved I’m finally getting assessed.

Does anyone have advice on what I should prepare beforehand? Should I write down symptoms/examples so I don’t forget things during the appointment?

Also, would it be okay to bring my partner with me? They’ve seen a lot of my struggles day-to-day and can give examples that I might forget or not notice myself.

Additionally I do have severe-mild depression due to some trauma but I am medicated and is getting a help that I need!! I definitely see a lot of improvement since 5 years ago and was wondering if I should let my doctor know about that too??

Would love to hear what your assessment experience was like and anything you wish you knew beforehand 😭

When does the extension for assessment on 8 May - 15 May be registered in Canvas??

I have an assessment due tomorrow on 11 May, and I was wondering if the extension will be registered by then.
