Just a thought experiment.

Anyone here retired from investing in ETFs alone?

If so…

- what was your starting position? (Zero, lump sum, inheritance) and the £ amount.

- how much did you deposit monthly?

- which ETF(s) did you invest into?

- for how long of a period did you invest until early retirement?

I ask this cause when playing around with figures on a compound interest calculator, as a basic rate tax payer, there’s absolutely no viable way to retire any earlier than the normal retirement age from ETFs alone, assuming at 10% CAGR.
