I drive 60miles one way to work, 4 days a week. currently driving a lexus nx, it's comfortable but the daily commute is very fatiguing. it's about 60% highway (bumper to bumper about 50% of the highway drive) and 40% country road (45-70mph speed limit). i'm leaning towards switching to a tesla with self driving to ease the commute stress, however i'm very confused on which one has self driving where i can just let go of the steering wheel on a long stretch of highway and let it do its thing. on tesla's website, it looks like FSD is 100 bucks a month, and i'm not willing to pay that, based on my research some used tesla's have fsd for liftime? i'm willing to do used but maybe 23-24 MY with less than 30k miles on the odo, not sure which model should i look at? there's the LR, performance, rwd, awd, some years had better computers? some years had matrix headlights that are better for night driving? just seems like there are so many variables that makes a certain year/model way better than others.
