Leaving my partner with 6 month old
First let me start of with saying we have been together for 11 years. We have always had problems with him lying, obsessively watching porn and other “little” things. When I was in labor I had an almost near death experience and he slept the entire time. Made my mom receive my son and stay the night with me because he wanted to get a bath.
Since then it’s been me up at night with our son. Him waking me up from naps with my son to see if I can go clean something “with” him. Never compliments me unless he wants sex and so forth.
I live around his family who are also very narcissistic people. My family fully supports me leaving and willing to help.
How do I have a conversation about leaving when he never understands he’s doing something wrong? I want it to be civil.. but I know he will say my family is talking me into it and he will also bring up his mom’s bad health and taking her grandson away.
I don’t know how to do it but I’m so over it.
