This true life World War 2 mission takes place in the Pacific theatre.

It is so secret that even the soldiers being specially trained never know what the specific target is until just hours before it is launched.

Would rain be involved?

A lone communication over the airwaves gives them their only hope.

Mutations hamper their progress in a brutal stop in Las Vegas, not all survive.

During this finale it’s a sword, and a certain use of a Ninja star, against brute force with a chainsaw and axe.

The sword and axe pretty much neutralize each other and neither is involved in the end. The chainsaw ends up on the floor.

In the end it’s another kind of saw that decides it all.

The Protagonist, who had hoped to leave his old ways behind for the sake of raising family, is forced back into it after a vicious attack on his family by the Antagonist.

The Antagonist, who doesn’t GAF about anything, has previously ignored a deadly warning from the Protagonist to leave his family alone.

This all begins when the Antagonist mistakenly believes that the Protagonist has taken something of great value meant for himself.

A motorist just cruising along in a rented car, he couldn’t know he wasn’t going far.

So much money, so much money and not so very far, big time money to be had, money they hoped would take them very far.

It wasn’t until they all gathered on a hot and serene plain that everyone stopped and stared, knowing a trap had been lain.

He’s very manipulative. He believes that his very aging victims are somehow better off being murdered.

He takes a ring from each victim to keep.

At a large house he’s currently staying at he will give a young woman one of his murder victim’s rings, which is initialized inside the ring loop.
He is aware of this and when she asks about it he gives a smokescreen answer that it used to belong to a family member, or something.

This will be the main part of his undoing in the end.

I don’t think this was for romantic purposes but rather for just another manipulation feather for his cap.

Now from news reports about the murders she realizes the initials match up to one of the murder victims, as the killings are a nationwide story.

For some reason instead of going to the police with what she now knows, she instead wears the ring in a manipulative way herself, coming down a stairway into a crowded room where he is speaking to people.

Near the base of the stairs she stops and rests her right hand on the railing, being sure to catch his attention to the ring.
She also has a very stern gotcha kind of look on her face, though she can’t actually prove anything.

I think she does all this to protect the much older woman of the house, maybe her grandmother, from becoming the next victim.

Anyway he now realizes he’s close to being outed and decides he needs to quickly dispose of her and get the ring back.

Now claiming that he will be suddenly leaving for Seattle(?) because of a letter he had “just” received, he somehow talks her into going to the train station with him.

They end up inside facing out an open doorway on the just departing and still accelerating train, he has every intention of pushing her out to her death.

He says to her that the still accelerating train “needs to be going faster, just a little bit faster.” She knows what’s going on and makes a quick pushing or tripping move that sends him to his own demise on the tracks.

There are other specifics I can remember but nothing turns up any close matches on internet search.

Some people flee, others try to fight back.

Pterodactyl attacks on both man and beast.

There are those who think the monster is unjustly imprisoned.

At the start of his rampage he will trample to death the only two people who were on his side. Some gratitude!

Those who live in the shadows are the first to respond.

Don’t chase the pretty butterfly.

Stay away from hanging moss or literally get hung!

Not necessarily in that order.

Drama ensues as she is supposedly helped by the man she hires, but he realizes her desired return is delusional at this later stage in her career.

But to leave her employ means a return to the financial desperation from whence he just came.

So he plays a manipulative hidden agenda which involves stringing out her unrealistic desire for as long as he can.

The story ending is murder!

He meets a woman who will become his ally and main spokesperson for his cause.

Of course greedy mankind is more interested in his spaceship technology than in listening to his forewarnings.

He is taken into custody during which an important item of advanced technology is taken from him.

In the end they succeed in trapping him on Earth, where he knows the atmosphere is slowly poisoning him. But they still can’t contain him.

After his ally retrieves his advanced technology item for him he warns his returning spaceship away, now aware of a plan to capture it.

Disgusted at mankind’s corruption he returns to his landing point to be at peace in his final minutes, seems to just fade away.

Speed is involved, twice.

When the need for money arises they turn to crime, which becomes ever more violent leading to multiple murders.

But can their reckless power trip go on and on?

In the end they are betrayed by someone they had closely trusted, leading to a bloody police ambush.

Blackmailing by phone is involved in keeping the murder plot under wraps.

When the man selling the poison to the husband realizes he is using it in a murder plot he begins a blackmail plot, constantly demanding money over the phone and in person.

The wife starts becoming suspicious after finding out that his first wife died under the similar circumstances of prolonged and ever worsening illness.
This prompts her to finally look at a face painting her husband has recently completed of her, but won’t let her see.
When she finally does see it and sees the very intended look of death on her face, she fully realizes she is in immediate mortal danger from her husband as she still suffers prolonged illness, like she now knows his first wife also did in her ordeal.

She now realizes that her daily serving of milk from the husband is the cause of her ill health.
The husband realizes he has been completely discovered when he sees that his latest offering of the poisoned milk had been dumped out of her window.

This prompts him to immediately cut the phone line even as she is calling for emergency help. She just does get enough info out to save herself in the end.

At the end the now arrested husband asks the Cops if they would like a glass of milk on the way out.

Don’t drink the milk!

The film is from the classic era of movies. The guesses of Dial M for Murder and Sorry, Wrong Number are all around it.

He tries to run through a fake a tunnel entrance he painted himself. Ouch!

His rolling boulder play comes after him instead of his quarry.

And of course his various explosive traps using dynamite are his biggest self own.
