Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone else is having this issue with Windsurf/Codex.

For some chats, but not all, the chat history does not load inside Windsurf. The chat area just stays black/empty, and I can’t fetch the previous conversation history. Prompting also does not work it just keeps showing a spinning loader and never responds.

The strange thing is that it only happens with certain chats. Other chats still work normally.

I already tried reopening Windsurf and switching chats, but the affected chats still stay empty/black.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known bug, or is there a workaround to recover the chat history / make the prompt work again?
