Hi everyone,

I’m a 20-year-old woman, and I’ve struggled with my mental health since I was around 12. Recently, I went to my doctor and took the MDI scale, which I scored quite highly on. Because of that, I now have a psychiatric appointment scheduled.

I’m feeling really nervous about it, and I’d really appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences with getting diagnosed. What was the process like for you? What should I expect from the appointment?
