My wifi has been acting very weird ever since the latest window update, either the option itself disappearing altogether randomly or not reading my wifi. Things I have tried which worked temporarily

1. Reinstalling the driver, in some instances it wouldn't reinstall after restarting

2. Manually installing a different driver, which worked great temporarily but it's now acting weird again

My friend suggests that I might have to buy a new chipset but this has happened to me before but not this often, I want to see if I can try something else before I do that. I own an Asus f15

Update: Problem resolved by uninstalling the said windows update
