Seeking advice regarding my recent experience with Asurion Cebu.

During both my initial and final interviews, I was fully transparent about my educational background. I clearly stated that I had only completed my first year, first semester with 52 units. I also disclosed that my records were being withheld due to a pending school balance.

Despite this disclosure, I was offered the position and cleared to complete the pre-employment process. Relying on this offer, I paid off my 16k school balance to secure my credentials for the company. Now, after completing the requirements, I am being told that 82 units is a 'non-negotiable' requirement and my application will no longer be considered.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?
