Urge to pee
I am a 52-year-old male, non-smoker, height 5’7” and weight 72kg. I have been taking Losartan potassium 100mg since 2012 and Atorvastatin 10mg since last year, both in the morning. I have had erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation since starting the losartan. Every time I ejaculate, I feel an urge to pee afterwards. It is not a strong urge, just similar to the feeling you get about 15–20 minutes after drinking water. I have no fever, pain, blood in urine, or burning sensation while peeing, and it does not wake me up at night. Yesterday the urge felt a bit more noticeable, but today it seems normal again. The night before yesterday I drank one glass of whisky with ice before bed, but I did not drink last night. Could alcohol have an effect on this? I also have a varicocele on my left testicle with visible veins but no pain, and it has been there for many years. My urine colour is normal and there is no bad smell. What advice would you give?
