The mother is ignored? Unknown? Does that mean my ancestor didn't know his mother, or just the witnesses on the record? He was from Sala Consilina in Salerno, Campania. The only record I've found of his family lists his grandfather as a witness on a birth record in Zadar, Croatia, 1787.

Thought this would be interesting to post - my results, my sister's, and our mother's. My mother is 3/4 German and 1/4 Sicilian. My sister and I are just a little over 3/8ths German, 3/8ths Italian exactly, and the rest is English, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, and French.
