I was in a car accident, a long semi truck was merging into my lane whilst i was in their blind spot and had therefore rammed into me. I had taken photos of their drivers licence etc but not photos of their truck wreckage or where it happened.

I am uninsured and my dashcam did not record the incident unfortunately. Both parties think it is the other's fault.

I therefore have no evidence of any of this happening which is incredibly fustrating as i thought my dashcam wouldve recorded it.

Please advise me on the next steps, i have no idea what to do from here.

Yes, i know i fucked up by not getting insured and i am immediately doing it after but for now, what is my best action?
