This is a custom Loric I designed that leans into the fun chaos of fake claims, while providing fun tactical choices to both good and evil alike. I've play tested it a good bit with a couple of different scripts and I'm really liking how its turning out.

  • You must be mad as the role the whole day in public to qualify for gaining the ability
  • The ST will visit players who gained abilities at the beginning of the night, but they won't be used until their proper turn in the night order
  • Not everyone who qualifies will gain a power, its up to the ST
  • Multiple people can gain the same ability, but one or more might be drunked, including anyone who drew that character token
  • Players are allowed to bluff 1 daytime role (Gossip, Alsaahir, Juggler, etc...) to hide the real one, and not count as breaking madness
  • Certain roles that come with downsides (Grandmother, Lycanthrope, Bounty Hunter, & Atheist) have jinxes to either prevent a Mimic from gaining that ability, or ensuring the downside of said role is still active even despite breaking madness
  • The Mimic does not change alignments, so Townsfolk gaining Minion abilities are still good
  • Poison/Drunking also affect any gained abilities
  • If multiple demon abilities would be in play, deaths are arbitrary (Pit-Hag rulings)
  • Mimic gained abilities are lost on Final 3
  • As an additional rule, ST's can allow the Cerenovus to make players mad as evil characters as well, because thats just fun

(Also 0 idea how others made their images for custom roles so I've just thrown this together in photoshop with my own 2 hands)
