fellow book dragons - suggestions welcome!

hello, fellow UFers!

today's part of the Great Closet Unfuckening of 2026 has unearthed two tote bins to go through and a box of paperbacks i forgot was in there! i have removed them from the dusty icky box into two tote bags and already put one in the donation bag (why did i have anything of Nora Roberts' when i can't stand her writing?? who knows!).

after i bang the closet dust out of the rest of them tomorrow, i intend to give them all a read. but i would like to have somewhere better than two tote bags cluttering up my living room.

i also have a crap ton of other books, new and used, that i need to read/reread and then decide what to do with.

does anyone have a suggested system for this? i would like them in a centralized location that is not on one of my bookshelves. a) they are full and disorganized lmao. b) i doubt i will be keeping many of these and to me, books on bookshelves = keepers.

right now, there is only a really old series that i wanted to try forever and if i like them well enough, i will keep those. the rest are likely to be sent out of my house to LFLs in my community.

thanks in advance!
