SWE 3 - Team Matching Process
Hey all - I participated in the 05/07 super day for SWE2/3 (in Plano). I received a call and email next day saying I qualified for SWE 3 and would be receiving my offer letter by the following Tuesday. She also mentioned on the phone 2 out 3 of the interviewers were already interested in me, however one of them only had a SWE 2 position open and was considering upgrading the role to SWE 3. We also agreed upon a late June start date on the phone as well.
My question is will my offer be rescinded (hoping my offer letter comes in on time) if I somehow don’t match to a team by my start date? I am currently working, so I’m a bit cautious about putting my notice in and not knowing if my position at JP is 100% secure (I also have to relocate). Anyone ever gone through this process?
