There is some oil on the outside of the spark plug because when I changed the valve cover the first time it didn't sit properly, the back right corner kept popping out.

I was driving the car yesterday and the shifting was jumpy and then the check engine light started blinking a few times then went away.

Luckily, I had 4 new spark plugs nearby. I also took out the fuel injectors and cleaned the seals. I replaced one because the lower casing was cracked which might have been causing it to run lean.

I cleared the codes and so far the check engine light is not on. There is also no hesitation, no knocking sound and the rpms look steady when decelerating.

I'm going to check them again in a week to see if there is any oil on them.
