LCWRA awarded after 17 months wait! LCW -> LCWRA

I was just awarded LCWRA! I literally just sobbed for minutes of joy I haven’t had happiness in a long time.. this has been such a hard fight along my condition for so long. I’ve been LCW since 2021, but my condition worsened in 2024, forcing me to leave work. I reported this in November 2024 but was ignored until July 2025 on my UC journal. Work coaches then wrongly insisted I needed 3 months of fit notes for a reassessment, but the system wouldn't allow me to upload them because LCW/LCWRA claimants physically can't upload them. After months of conflicting advice from work coaches, I finally got the issue escalated to a Case Manager in November 2025… a full year after my initial report! I’m so so relieved it’s all done now. This is a message for all those in similar circumstances to me LCW waiting to be referred fight it and don’t let them silence you for months report official error’s to the DWP and even escalate to your local MP’s if you aren’t getting anywhere as that is what I did and I got a WCA a few weeks after explaining all this to them. If anyone has any questions for me I’ll be happy to try and answer.

Just had my WCA telephone assessment and it was going well I was struggling with dates of medications and admissions into hospital but we were mainly talking about my main condition and how it affects me day to day for about 50 minutes but suddenly she asked me about mobility and how I have to stop to take breaks in such short distances due to my condition. She said “We have enough information now we don’t need to actually know about any further details for any other conditions”, I’m just a bit anxious because I didn’t discuss my mental health and suicidal thoughts with her and kind of wanted to make sure that was noted down but does this mean they had enough information to suggest me for LCWRA or not?
