My NYC Visit. I ❤️ NYC

I love NYC. This is probably my 30 th visit. I used to live upstate before moving to California.
I plan my trips. I read reviews in the NYT, the New Yorker, and the New York magazine.
My family is physically active so we walk a lot. I would say 15-20 k steps a day.
I prefer subway to bus and to Lyft if I can't walk somewhere. Cabs are easy to flag if one doesn't feel well enough to walk somewhere.
We love just walking around the city at night as we continue living on California time.

May 1. Friday Flight to NYC. JFK, Subway to the hotel on the Lower East Side. Check in. Dinner at Veselka
May 2. Saturday. Breakfast at Blackseed Bagel. Studio Museum. Lunch at Charles Pan Fried Chicken.Wandering around at night
Little Frankie. Viniero for dessert.
Casey's Stamps. I finally got myself a cat stamp!
May 3. Sunday. Bronx Botanical Gardens. Lunch at the Cafe.
Rest.
Burnout Paradise at Astor Pl Theater.
Epistrophy for dinner. Wandering around LES.
May 4. Monday. Day at The Bathhouse Flatiron and a massage. Evening. Dinner with family at Nice Matin. ( Upper Westside) Wandering around West side.
May 5th. Tuesday. Brunch at Russ and Daughters. Tenement Museum LES building walking Tour at 2 pm. Snack at Pickle Guys and a bialy from Kossar Bagels. Stopping at Bella Ferrara. I love this hole in the wall! Rest, then Oh Mary Play at the Lyceum Theater.
Dinner at Bao Noodles.
Dessert, at the hotel with cannoli from Bella Ferrara. Wandering around St. Mark's Place, etc
May 6th. Wednesday.
Brooklyn Bagels and Coffee Company. Get bagels to freeze for the trip home. Hanging out with Family. Laundry.
New Museum on Bowery. Fantastic futurism exhibits Rest.
Puppetry on The Edge show at Wild Project.
Yopparai for dinner
Wandering around all the way to Donut Pub on W 14.
May 7th, Thursday,
Met. Rafael and a tiny hidden wedding dress exhibit at the St. Gallery 599.
Hot dog.
Walk around Central Park.
Coffee and Lobster Tail pastry at Bella Ferrara. Rest
Burgers is a Holy Cow with a relative, then drinks at Lovers of Today. Wandering around Alphabet City. Ray's Candy Store.
May 8th, Friday. The Frick Collection. Central Park. Rest
Dinner at Bea.
The Jellicle Ball at Broadhurst Theater.
Coffee at a cafe.
May 9th. Saturday, Whitney. High Line. A couple of Chelsea galleries. Evening. My Birthday dinner at my dad's apartment. Chocolate mousse cake from Le Bergamot.
May 10th. Fly home.
