Last night, around 10pm, I was chased for a few minutes by a young male, who had been following me and ran after me once I started running to gain distance from him. He chased me all the way to my apartment and repeatedly tried to grab me. Luckily, the security guard for my building was outside smoking and heard me yelling as I ran up. This was enough to spook the male away and he retreated into a parking garage, but please be extra aware of your surroundings.

I know the area is not the safest in general, but this person was looking for an opportunity to chase someone down and potentially harm them, so I would urge people to be extra vigilant. Police report was made and they patrolled the area all night, but yall please stay safe!
