First 30 days and some questions
Hello everyone I just finished my first 30 days on Etsy This is my first post on this subreddit although I've been lurking the whole time trying to observe as much information as possible. I had a few questions firstly is this a decent Start for my first 30 days? It is wildly above what I expected so unsatisfied either way I kind of just started this as a side project with no expectations and it really took off so now I'm rolling with it . My second question being how long does it take to start actually receiving payments Several of my orders have gone past hold date or whatever it is But when I tried to get clarification from Etsy I got multiple different explanations on why I haven't had any payments made yet the first one was some arbitrary amount was deemed a non depositable amount or something along those lines They said that figure fluctuates as more sales clear the hold period And as more sales come in the second explanation I got was that all my fees taxes shipping etc Get taken out of my earlier sales so for example fees from 27th order get deducted from the earliest order so once sales overtake fees I would start seeing payment. Any guidance on this is greatly appreciated and thank you all for taking the time to read this
