Accidentally erased all text in a very important notes file. Immediately pressed CMD+Z and nothing happens, just that click noise. Can't lose this info, appreciate any help
I did not delete the note. I erased all the text in the note. cmnd+z does not work. file>undo is greyed out. no clue how time machine works the restore button is also greyed out in time machine when i locate the library>group containers>apple com apple notes as well as the NoteStore.sqlite file in there. It's linked to iCloud and my iphone. iCloud shows the same erased notes file with no undo. I've tried to undo on iphone as well, shaking does not bring up the Undo option, 3 finger tap reveals a back/undo button but you guessed it... also greyed out. This is all immediately after erasing (backspace) the text, I didn't even click a different app or anything. Anyone know of anything? Thank you
