Hello all I’ll try to keep it brief. We just filed application for my American wife to come to the UK. We meet all financial guidelines and children have dual citizenship, the only issue we have is that back in 2014 my wife overstayed a visitor visa by 3.5 months due to the birth of our daughter, she left voluntarily, I have had a repayment plan in place with the NHS for the outstanding balance, and also declared the overstay on the visa application.

She has entered and left the UK twice in the last year on an ETA with no issues at all, I’m just wondering has this overstay been forgiven due to the time that has passed and she’s been allowed entry on two separate occasions or will they dive into this upon processing application and will it have an effect on the decision?
