Before i tell you tips/tricks to invest/sell i want to say yes i do or have done these things so i know what work and what does not👍

  1. Dont take investing advise from people online 😂 i know this makes no sense to listen to my advise about not to listen to what i say😂 What i mean by this is if somebody says that something specific is a good play to invest in they just want to pump that because they invest in that and 99% of people online does not have the experience to tell you what to do and people mostly think about themself...most people started S&V/SWSH era and see that thing are going up on collectr

  2. Have a "dark horse" investment Have something that you believe in but people are not talking about For me i have radiant cards and Vmax cards because they are cheap and i believe in them (in 5-10years)

  3. Start small You dont need to buy 1k box just to start xD you can start with sleeved boosters or something small to see can you keep it sealed or you dont need to go to a card show tomorrow to sell try ebay or facebook market place and see if this is for you

3,5. Rule of 3 If you have the money buy 3 of them so you can sell 1 at your exit price (most of the time +50-100%) then keep 1 just in case it goes to the moon🚀 so you dont regret the first sale and 3rd one if you want to keep it for your own collection

  1. Know when to sell Have an exit price and dont look back with regret after you sell And also realize that higher the price less people want to buy it "Normal" people who are not so deep into pokemon wont spend more than 50-100$ So if its "cheap" its easier to sell and if its expensive its way harder to sell even if your profits are better (Remember most places will offer you ~80% so you wont get 100% of the price)

  2. Dont do it only because people are talking about it because most of the time its "too late" And what i mean by this is dont buy DR box at 600 or AH etb at 150 just because people are talking about it now I would rather buy stellar crown 2 etb and sleeved boosters than 1 AH etb (Yes becouse people talk about it it will go up i get it)

  3. Its easier said than done How many times have you said "oh i will just keep it for 5-10years and then sell it" Yes it could happen but think how much has chance in 5-10years Are you in the same house or do you have the same job or are you in the same relationship as 5-10 years ago? People say and think everything will stay the same when you dont know whats gonna happen

And yes its easy to say "i will buy at 70% and sell for 120% if i have a table" but 99.9% of the time that wont happen

  1. Think about cards as shares from a company and sealed like snp500 where it will go up 99.9% of the time slowly and cards are high risk high reward (yeah you can put cards to your binder if they dont rise in price)

  2. Sealed is king but know your items

Things like battle decks or tins will go up with time yes ofc but not every tin is the same and not every sealed item act the same Things that has packs will do better Things where you can see the packs or dont need to guess whats inside will do better Like paldean fates,151,Blackbolt/Whiteflare or ascended mini tins will do 100000x better than kanto power/friends mini tins or some big collection tins Because you know whats inside them and yes you could find whats inside something but people who buy thing wont do the work to find whats inside azura legends tin and still its not 100% fact

(Same item with the same stamp could have different items inside depending on where its from EU,USA,AU....)

8,5. Not every exclusive item will do good Yes things like deck exclusive cards and PC ETB's will do better but not every exclusive item works that way Think about holiday stamped cards or mc donalds pack/cards (Yes they have gone up but lets be real who wanta to buy 3card mcdonalds pack for idk more than 5$) Yeah they are hard to get but its even harder to find a buyer for them

  1. Even if you "lose" money its better to keep the money moving And what i mean by this is you can sell 150$ card for 130$ if its not moving or if you over paid for it Its better to take that 130 to buy something that you can sell faster and easier that hold on to that 1 card for a year because you over paid And you could even give free items if that can help you sell more things like buy 10 get 1 free Now instead of you selling 6 now they buy 10 just to get 1 free (Ofc do this with something cheap and make sure the 10 items make money and still pay the cost of the 1 free one)

  2. Have fun and dont stress too much
