I posted yesterday about rear pads binding. Took the day off work and spent the morning pulling everything off again, cleaned everything perfectly, applied loads of grease, put it all back together and the rears are still scraping. It has taken all the coating off the rear disks in a 2 min drive around the block. The fronts are fine, it stops fine, the pedal feels fine - is it just a case that the pads need to wear in a bit? The scraping sounds awful but will taking it for a longer drive help? I'm really confused - I've changed the disks and pads on loads of different cars, I've done it on this one 4 years ago and I haven't had this problem before...
