So my levels came back as borderline, in the gray area. I’ve been dealing with unexplained symptoms that pretty much take over my whole life. I spoke with the receptionist who pretty much told me the doctors won’t treat it because it isn’t low enough. Even after I explained there is a family history of b12 absorption issues. I felt absolutely stupid advocating for myself. The symptoms I deal with are a long list but I mostly deal with an unexplained arrhythmia that’s been deemed as benign, constant dizziness when upright, extreme anxiety, total numbness in my upper thigh, cold hands and feet, irregular and heavy periods, brain fog, and really bad short term memory, breathlessness, the list goes on and on. I’m now at the point where doctors are just prescribing Benzos and deeming it as an anxiety disorder. I am completely lost on what to do and how to advocate for myself. My grandads deficiency was so bad he ended up in a wheelchair due to his neurological symptoms. What can I even do at this point.

I was dealing with dizziness for the past month, so my doctors did a blood test? Is this an actual deficiency because there’s differing information being given?

HOLOTRANSCOBALAMIN
Serum holotranscobalamin concentration 41.3 pmol/L
Is this indicative of a deficiency? I just got my results back and I’m quite confused.
