Any good Barber in Guangzhou?
I have been to several barbershops, but in GZ they don't cut well. They just cut and that's it, leaving my hair with no good texture. Any barber you recommend that is professional?
Thanks

Let me clarify that I hold great affection and respect for China and its people. I believe it is a remarkable nation, and despite any imperfections, I still find it admirable for its achievements. However, I have encountered something that has caused me discomfort. Regardless of my personal experience, this post is not intended to criticize China out of bitterness, but rather to share some personal reflections.
I have been residing in China for seven months as a student, having arrived in 2025. Upon my arrival, I did not encounter the China I had known from online sources—that charming China where making friends was effortless, where the lively environment offered a sense of adventure for foreigners, and where one did not feel as isolated as it seems today. It appears I may have arrived at an unfavorable time, which is regrettable, as I was a child during the 2010s, and the post-pandemic world presents its own challenges.I recall one of my friends who arrived in 2015. His experience has differed significantly from mine. He largely experienced the golden age, whereas that is no longer the case for me. Opportunities are gradually diminishing. People no longer make an effort to engage in conversation. I acknowledge that language may be a factor, yet I believe even if I were proficient, they might not show sufficient interest. Moreover, following the pandemic, I observed that many individuals have faced business losses—as they informed me and I perceive that optimism has been shaken. This indicates that circumstances are not progressing favorably.
I have also encountered personal challenges previously and had hoped that China might bring about a positive change for me, but now I find myself in the same situation.
On a positive note, however, efficiency in China has improved. The system functions effectively, and the nation is advancing technologically. These developments reflect progress, which is commendable.
I am uncertain whether my perspective is correct or not.

THESE PEOPLE WERE ALREADY FIGHTING EACH OTHER!!
So was your dear Continent. European Kingdoms kept going at each other's throats. The British and the French fought each other for 100 years. The European Kingdoms pillaged and enslaved other people, and somehow it isn't that big of a deal for these people.
If we go by their logic, then Muslim countries had a right to enslave Europe and destroy it because these people fought each other.
THEY COMMITTED HUMAN SACRIFICES.
As if Europe did not burn and humiliate people in the street who were accused of "Witchcraft". Many people were accused of being a Witch just for thinking differently outside the religious point of view regarding Life. Churches would even skin you to death if you questioned the existence of God because they would see it as blasphemy.
Human Sacrifices weren't just done by the Natives. Half of the world did such things too, such as some Asian countries. It was unfortunately a backwards practice, but Europe was no saint either in regards to human rights violations. It just applied them differently and for different reasons.Besides, who are these people to want to insult other people's intelligence as if the Spanish Empire came to conquer the Americas for moral reasons? Everybody knows that the entire aim was gold and prestige. The Spanish Empire destroyed the way of life of the Indigenous people and condemned them to rape and death.
SPANISH EMPIRE BROUGHT CIVILIZATION.
Shall I remind you that Spanish peasants smelled like poop (a major cause of the disease spread) and Indigenous people were hygienic?
Your Empire did not spread civilization. It already found a civilization and destroyed it and set it back, the effects of which we still see today as the Spanish wound.
