so i bought a 2005 zx6r a few months ago

it was working just fine, did notice lights would sometimes flicker off cold starts, but never prevented it from starting

a few weeks ago i messed up and washed it with a hose, think i hit it at the wrong angle somewhere and the next day it started at low idle and stalled on its own

ive been trying nearly everything i can think of but i still cant figure out the exact issue. i do really enjoy working on my vehicles(and im on a college student budget) so id prefer to not bring it to a mechanic unless i know i cant fix it. any help/advice/feedback would be appreciated!

heres what ive checked/confirmed so far(trying to keep it brief bc so much text):

crankshaft spins, primary injectors fire, got weak spark from dirty plugs

got a little puddle of water out airbox. let filter out to dry basically the whole time

tip over sensor and anti-theft wire work fine (4V and 9.6V respectively)

pump primes, had bad gas and got it out with priming (murky, white, not sure if water or oxidation. i will have to deal with that soon but id like to get it working first)

got new bolts for the frame and transmission ground. got 0V across the ground points to battery negative when i turned it on, but cant confirm when cranking bc i need more hands

crankshaft position sensor was a strong suspect at first bc my tach didnt show any rpm when cranking. the pins were wet with what i thought was dielectric grease until i actually got some grease. the pins just have some greasy/oily liquid in them, not sure what and kinda hard to remove it all. but it kinda fixed itself after a few weeks and currently the tach shows rpm when cranking

throughout all my testing, did many start attempts after each check to confirm. after a start attempt, took out old plugs and they were wet with gas. new plugs arrived a few days later(covered holes with towel and did clear flood mode multiple times, as well as let it sit open+covered w/ towel for days to get any moisture out)

i installed the new plugs. i think it sounded a bit stronger, like it caught a few times but still didnt start. the dash started dimming and flickering so i jumped it with a car battery

and now it still doesnt start. so i think its left with a few possible options: either theres something wrong with my plugs (somehow damaged during installation or shipping, or theyre beginning to get fouled) so it doesnt have strong enough spark still

or its an issue with timing, possibly bc of the liquid shorting the crankshaft position sensor signal?

or it could be a grounding issue still

or filter still has water

if anyone knows anything else i can check? or if you have some general tips for this stuff, like i believe i seated the coils right but not 100% sure. basically pushed as hard as i could. theyre all even and dont think i can make them go any deeper
