planning to go to TMU next year for biomed,

I've been looking around the Reddit and I've seen people saying that tmu has a very bad social / campus life because it's a commuter school and people generally don't like making friends

is that true? I'm commuting too probably, but I was really hoping to make friends and join clubs and stuff

I recently got accepted to both biology and BioMedical science at TMU, which I was really happy about

thing is, I don't know which to go into

I want to go into something in medicine, I was hoping optometry but maybe also looking into speech language pathology, sonography, or medical laboratory scientist.

I know biomedical is harder and biology tends to be a bit easier, but I've heard people saying biology has some courses (ecology and evolution and botany and stuff) that are boring or can bring down your gpa

any advice please and thanks :))

I know undergrad/school don't really matter for Waterloo optometry, but I'm just wondering if anyone went to TMU for their undergrad before getting into optometry. did it prepare you?

also, which undergrad program is better, biomedical or biology?
