Im helping a neighbor frame in their skylights because the roofer doesn't touch anything "interior." Should I cut off the step flashing and nail it to the curb? Im thinking it should definitely be cut so the skylight doesn't sit on it, but unsure if it should be nailed down. Nailing it seems like overkill and/or unnecessary. Cheers 🍻
