You are my only hope because I've been thinking about this for weeks now 😂

I'm fairly sure I'd have seen this movie in early to mid 2000s, probably on VHS so it might have been an earlier release tbh. I don't remember much about it other than that it was either set in a convenience store or ended in one, and the final scene was some hair monster lady appearing in the corner of the store near the ceiling and a shot of the konbini from the outside as it completely fills with hair.

Maybe a mobile phone was also somehow part of the plot but tbh I'd have watched anything and everything from this genre around that time so it all blends together a bit.

It's not Cursed (2004) or Convenience Store (2026).

I know this is not a lot to go by so thanks for any help!!

Just to preface it wasn't deliberate damage but there was possibly some negligence involved, and my upstairs neighbour flooded my flat a couple nights ago. They are renting from the council and I've been trying to find someone to contact for insurance purposes.

I called council repairs who bounced me to shared repairs who wanted to send me back to council repairs but then instead sent me to the local housing office who told me to contact the housing officer of this address, but their phone is perma turned off and goes to voicemail. I left a message but...

If anyone has dealt with a situation like this, please advise me what the outcome was :') Thank you!

Edit: I appreciate the suggestions to go through my insurance but my insurance have already told me this would be my problem in the end and it seems like if they tried to recover costs, it'd be from my socially vulnerable neighbour not the council - I don't think they need the stress of an insurance company breathing down their neck tbh. I was advised people in other parts of the UK dealt with the council directly which is why I'd have liked to exhaust that avenue before going through insurance.

Hey,

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I never had this issue before and never owned a flat before... my upstairs neighbour just flooded me - if I understood right, their sink/tap broke and it overflowed. They had called a plumber 15 mins prior but apparently didn't think to shut the water off until I went up... by that time there was quite a lot of water coming down from my ceiling all of a sudden, and there are now several cracks in my ceiling. It doesn't look too bad on the surface but by the amount/intensity I suspect there might be more hidden damage.

I have insurance but I've never had to contact them about anything. Upstairs neighbour is a council flat as far as I know. I checked my policy and it's pretty extensive coverage but I'm not sure how to proceed when I wasn't at fault. Do I contact my insurance first? The council? Both?

Thank you 😭

Edit: Scotland

This is my first time trying to do a reading that isn't for me/about something I'm not involved in, so bear with me :') I'm still learning for myself, and I've been having a lot of thoughts about how I'd connect to someone who isn't me for a reading.

My interpretation:

  1. Foundation of this relationship
AC rx shows there are issues with the foundation. It started in a place of emotional unavailability. It might have been a result of "trauma bonding" and other pathways shutting off, holding onto what you can hold onto.

  2. His feelings
Star overall hopeful and positive card but given the context it might be initial enthusiasm/investment because things are new and exciting - maybe he has genuine hope that this will work out and things will be different this time, and he makes sure of that with investment. The investment/enthusiasm might be real but it's also because the relationship is a bit of a lifeline/anchor/hope at a new beginning.

  3. Her feelings
I'm not too sure about this one - WoF rx points towards some kind of frustration or lack of security, things not progressing as she expected or wanted. I think maybe ideals or expectations still don't line up with reality despite his efforts, and there is friction/misunderstanding and some fundamental misalignment or lack of security. I pulled 6S as clarifier for this which shows acceptance, whether that's accepting what's given or reconciling/closing a difficult chapter in this relationship, or moving away from it.

  4. What's working against them
7P rx shows that effort isn't paying off, impatience, lack off progress - the relationship isn't sustainable for some reason or someone is questioning whether it is. There's financial difference, and there might be emotional inconsistency.

  5. Where it's heading
6P seems to be a positive card pointing and mutual give/take and reciprocity and there could be a chance of a balanced relationship. But because of the other cards it makes me wonder if someone is giving more while the other is taking even if that dynamic is not causing issues at the moment/they are happy with that arrangement.
