I'm trying to log my niece into my Xbox One Pro and she was logged into my sister's Xbox One (original) previously. When I attempt to login to her account after fully removing it, it goes as far as to ask me to create a password and then to confirm the password. This page loops indefinitely. I am eternally prompted for a password with no error message after completing the confirmation.
My niece is part of a family account and should be able to login. Also, she is no longer able to login to the original Xbox One now.
No settings have been changed, Microsoft's support bot is entirely unhelpful.

Edit RESOLVED! apparently, creating a password for the first time from Xbox doesn't work that well. I created a password for the account on a web browser and that worked
