🙋🏻‍♀️CBE junior ll.
I AM NOT promoting anything or job seeking, I’m asking for guidance nothing more.

I lost my job, and the job market is hopeless rn to say the least. I’m considering tutoring again as I’m in a little debt.

A couple of years ago when I was doing my AL, I tutored IGCSE/AS & A Level Biology/Chemistry 1-on-1 online for 100 per hour. I was also very flexible with timings, even really late at night. I’m not sure what a reasonable rate would be now since I’d like to increase it a bit, but not over-charge.

The main issue I had before was payment. Some parents/students were greattt and paid regularly, but others would eventually ask to “pay later” or “after salary” then ghost 😬
sooo I ended up just getting frustrated & stopped. Because I wasn’t doing this full time, I was a student myself and could only spare ≈ 3 hours or so every other day. Also.. some parents were extremely unrealistic, they were expecting me to take their kid from a D or C to A/A* in a few sessions like a month or so before the board exam???😀😀

For context, I’m currently majoring in Chemical & Biological Engineering, have a 3.9 CGPA, and I graduate in 2 semesters. I’m also considering tutoring college-level subjects related to my major, plus electives I’ve also taken, like Genetics & Molecular Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, cognitive psychology etc.

Would it be better to tutor IGCSE/AS/A Levels again, or focus on college-level courses? What’s a fair 1-on-1 online rate now, and what is the best way to handle payments, without risking to waste my time or come off as scammy? Since u know.. this will be fully online, and I’m not open to tutoring anybody in their house as I’m a female.

Any and all advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!!

Hello banat & girlies. I’ve now had my period for a little over 2 months, a very heavy one, like a day 2-3 kinda heavy, and I’m not sure how to stop it? I’ve tried a few recommendations I’ve seen online, nothing has worked obviously.

Now I understand the severity of this, it’s just not a good time for me financially to see a gyno. Is there anything I can do/ take to stop the bleeding for now? I have no pain or cramps of any sort, it’s just the bleeding is too heavy and it’s causing me an inconvenience.

I’m not sure if this would make any difference but, I’m 22 & unmarried, I don’t smoke or drink, and my period has always been messed up but messed up in terms of I don’t necessarily get one every month. But this is the first time this has happened, as in non stop bleeding for this long.

Hi. My tabby payments are Overdue by about ≈ 2 months, would they actually take legal action over this amount? I’ve communicated my situation very honestly with them (lost my job), but I woke up to this email today. I’m really worried, but I’m really unable to pay anything right now as I lost my job and things are really bad, so bad that I even had my phone disconnected to due to not paying. I lost my job 3+ months ago and I was/am hardly getting by. and it has been hard for me to find a job that works for me given my schedule (I’m a student). I’m already stressed with finals coming up, and this email just added to it. Online, there seems to be a lot of different things being said, some things would imply that this shouldn’t get bad given the amount and I’d just keep accumulating a late fees, and some suggest that no matter the amount it can get bad & result in legal action. I’m not sure what to believe. If anyone has first hand experience with this please let me know as this is causing me a great deal of stress.
