Quinn is the most boring champion in lore (and I love her for it)

What makes Quinn special is that she is incredibly normal. Let me break it down:

- She doesn't have any magic/ non-human/mortal powers of her own

- Her skills aren't just given to her, she had to train and earn her title as Ranger Knight

- Her parents are both alive and support her (her mom is a ranger and taught Quinn and Caleb, and their dad helped Quinn make her crossbow)

- She isn't influenced by some outside force (Demon, Aspect, etc.)

- The only real traumatic thing she experienced was her brother's death and even that doesn't seem to affect her (or at least she doesn't mention it every five seconds in game like SOME champions) (And the death of a single person is TAME compared to most other lores)

- Personality-wise, Quinn is very grounded and balanced (no grand ego, no 'Feel sorry for me', she doesn't even have a real enemy or rival besides Noxus as a whole which is also pretty much every other Demacian)

And I think that makes her special compared to almost every other champion. This post is all my opinion but I really enjoy Quinn as "A person who has a bird" in a world with magic, dragons and grand schemes that decide the fate of the world. The most interesting thing about her is her bond with Valor who MIGHT be her brother reincarnated but that is just a theory and outside of her calling him "brother" from time to time I don't think we got any evidence for that?

Call me tasteless but I've always enjoyed the "Average Joe" experience in high fantasy settings to see how integrated fantastical elements are in the everyday life of the people in that world

Is there a book like that?

A detective novel with a noir feeling that takes place in a world with fantasy creatures? A gritty no-nonsense detective, having to solve a case (murder, a stolen item, etc. I'm not picky) while being in a society with elves, fairies, centaurs, and so on would be so interesting if the case hinges on the fact that it involves non-human / partially human people
