I’d pay an annual fee for a credit card that actually goes after chargebacks for fraudulent subscription charges, crappy service, and substandard products.
Keep your lounge access and your $50 credits for luxury department stores. Actually fight back for me, save my time, so I don’t have to deal with bullshit. There was a time when this was standard in the credit card industry, but now that anyone with my credit card number can put any bullshit charge they want on my card with no penalty or recourse, this is clearly a service worth paying for.
