Very weird resolution issues
Pulse GL66 11UDK gaming laptop
RTX 3050 ti and an intel uhd graphics card
I've had a very slightly blurry screen for a few months now, it's barely noticeable but it bothers me a lot. I've also had resolution issues occurring in games starting around the same time.
For the first part, it's most noticeable on the icons in the tray. They appear slightly pixelated, and the search bar's rounded corners are blurry. This issue also affects all my games, with in game icons being blurry as well. Oddly enough, most text seems clear.
The second issue is just scaling issues in games. For example, in Starbound, when I select borderless fullscreen, It's supposed to automatically set it to my native resolution, but instead it makes the screen tiny and in the middle with black bars surrounding it.
I've tried testufo resolution test and there were scaling artifacts indicating that I am not in my native resolution. However, I go to settings and it's set to 1920x1080, which is the recommended option and the one I've used since I got the laptop. It seems like windows doesn't recognize that my current resolution is not at what it says it is, and I don't know how to fix that. Is it just a hardware issue?
