First panel line attempt.
Monkey Rodi looked too egg so I tried panel lining. I have bad tremors in my hands, but I thought it looked good if not pretty sloppy. Any tips to help it look better?

So I built the HG Exia last week and I had such a good time with the thing that when I saw the RG at a Barnes and Nobles on Friday, I picked it up no questions asked.
Fun weekend project, right.
Now I heard stories about the early RG kits, but through most of the building process, they seemed kinda... *overstated* "this ain't so bad" I told myself as I proceeded along, getting closer and closer to my inevitable downfall. Then it happened: The hands. Those posable, floppy little hands. They were gross and weird and I didn't much care for them at all, but I put it to the back of my mind. I finally got to the reason I started the kit in the first place; The GN Sword. Coolest weapon in Gundam. It was gonna be slick. It was gonna look great. It's...not staying put in those weird hands. What the hell? Now, a builder with a bit more sense/foresight would have read the instructions more carefully or inspected the sprues better, but I'm new, dumb, and upset. Stupid hands won't hold cool weapon!! Build ruined. But wait. I built the HG and that one holds the GN Sword real good and they're the same scale...I harvest the hand and try to peg it in the socket, but the ball is too big. No worries, I have steady hands and my trusty hobby knife...***I'll shave the ball down until it fits***
Yes, I was that dumb. Several minor cuts and sanding later and the hack job was done. I go to insert it into the socket and ...too small. No...noooooooooo. I not only ruined the high grade's hand, but I wore out the socket of the real grade's arm. 2 kits, ruined.
And the real kicker, if I would have read a liiiiitle further, I would have seen the dedicated holding hands and avoided all this mess.
