Such a sick kit..

I really wish Bandai would make a MG of this kit.. cause I'm not comfortable building a resin kit. Idk why but I love the look of it so much and tbh I dont know much about the MS other than that thoe.. if anybody knows any info on the MS, I'd love to hear it..

First time completing a build and kitbashing [EG Nu Gundam + HG Barbatos]

I was gifted an HG Barbatos (6th form) kit as a kid, I didn't know any better so I lost a lot of parts. I got back into the hobby recently and bought an EG Nu Gundam, I didn't want to waste the Barbatos parts, so I tried kitbashing, and this is the result!

*Also the decals were printed at home so the quality isn't great. I'm looking into getting some waterslides soon.

MG Zeta Gundam 3B Type

For once, I got lazy to pose it around as it feels flimsy to move around and missing parts for the Mega Launcher 🤦

Still happy with the outcome tho~

Matte topcoat, added decals (recycled some from previous kits)

Painted details (especially the stripes) with:

-Doloha Markers

-HiRo Paints (drybrushing)

Editted using:

-Ibispaint (for the eyes)

-Photoroom

-Lightroom

Just got addicted a couple months ago. I'm not buying anymore until I've completed assembly of these.

This is an artform I didn't know I'd grow a passion for it. It was probably an intimidating task. I already draw in my sketchbooks and paint sometimes. But i never thoughtthat I'd be doing this and loving so much so fast. I first started with RG Wing Zero, then the MG Astray Red Frame. I thought the MGEX looked epic, so i assembled that too. From there, I knew I wanted to get the RGs ad MGs of the Wing series and EW. I grew up on that and later got into G Gundam. I'm eventually gonna start airbrushing them. Thats a whole thing in itself I wanna experience and learn with. Perhaps to transfer to my other art skills on canvas.

The only others Gundam I'm looking to buy during the summer are the daban MG Wing Gundam, the fat cat God Gundam, and MG Shenlong's green EW Gundam. The MG Vidar too. I think I'll get one PG, the nu Gundam, but that's once I've done these.

I thought this was going to be a modern reprint and not one from 1994!

i’m still a beginner to this i shouldn’t be allowed to have this
this kit is a decade older than me
im still gonna try and do it justice when i put it together with some custom colors
into the backlog it goes i guess…

Rate the glow-up.

Basically, I mostly used sticker paper and leftover stickers form other kits for color correction (with the exception of the chin). Used mostly red and blue permanent markers and whiteboard marker for the panel lining. For the eyes, I used the eye sticker from the Gundam Alex because it's the only kit i have with green eyes.

SHINING TACO

Got this “motivational taco” at work earlier and immediately noticed it was appropriately size for my data protector

YMS - 16M Xamel

This was my first 3rd party kit. It was so much fun getting it together. Every part needed a bit of clean up, every hole needed a little widening with a hand drill to fit better, but I enjoyed that part the most. I had to destroy it a little to build it 🖤. First time weathering a full model. I maybe went a bit overboard but I’m in love with this kit. Quick beauty shots before I lost the light today. I might get some black metal power pipes for the torso before I call this kit finished. If you have any questions please ask! Keep building!

Black or Grey Markers?

Working on HG GP02 MLRS, which panel line marker should I use on nuke man?

In light of lots of Spear SNAA kits popping up

Here is my first SNAA kit built with panel lining and accents… I’ll get around to the decals but I’m digging it without

My girlfriend got me these for our 5 year anniversary

Saturday was mine and my girlfriend‘s five year anniversary and as a surprise, she handed me a massive bag with all six of the Gundam in the picture and I was completely shocked. I asked her where did she get them? and she told me she searched for a store that sold Gundam to get me the MG Char Zaku then when she found out what my big gift for our anniversary was, she wanted to get me more so she grabbed in her words “the ones with the coolest looking boxes” she then went onto to explain that the 711 Zaku she got off of someone selling it because she overheard me talking about it 2 months ago with my friends. I felt bad that she spent so much on my gifts she then explained to me that she found out about my big gift for her and felt bad about how much I spent on that and that I was paying for everything when we go on our date so she wanted to get me more Gundam. Sorry if this post was long I’m just really happy I got these kits and I also wanted to talk about my girlfriend a bit

I may have become addicted really quickly

I bought my first gunpla around 10 months ago and only started buying them frequently after getting my second one in September. While cleaning I put all my boxes (that I swear I'll turn into posters/cards eventually) together and realized that I may have a spending problem.

Home setup for builds, workbench from harbor freight.

Decided to turn part of my living room area into my work station it’s just me and my roommate and my 4 year old half the time. Had my standup desk as the initial work station but took that into my room, this is it for now.

Mecha Core Industry are amazing at laying out there runners.

It really is an under appreciated aspect of building. If a build calls for two symmetrical upper arm or leg builds, -then instead of putting two pieces per body part on two different runners, Mecha Core just puts all four pieces on One runner. -It makes the build so much quicker and more pleasant!

They also tend to put all pieces of a body part on two or 3 runners. So you can only keep a few on your desk and than clear them quickly.
