Dirt smell help

Dirt smell help

I did the 70/30 topsoil playsand mix for my girl and the smell is so strong, does this go away? If not how do I neutralize the odor?? I am considering getting an air purifier, but I want to see if anyone has any other tips first, thank you!

Does this look okay for my gecko? I feel like there isn’t enough room for him to move around. The first picture corner will be the hot side, the second is the cool one, the third pic is what will eventually replace the blue container after it’s done being painted and cured, the hide is a little tunnel underneath with another opening on the side. I do plan on getting some black paper or board as a background for him until he can get a nice one. If I put his water in the dish on the middle hide do you think he would use it? Or should I just find a place for a ground dish?? Thank you!!

I just got my cutie a few days ago and I’m trying my hardest to leave him alone and let him adjust. I can’t wait to put his big tank together, I’m just waiting on some things to come in. I just need to see some cute leos and get my fix, thank you!!

I read that all lights and heat lamps get turned off at night. Our house stays at 68 degrees, won’t he get cold?

Another question I have is, I got him a 55 gallon tank, I have one 75 watt heat lamp, does he need more heat/lighting? I was going to use a heat mat but I plan on having several inches of topsoil/play sand so it wouldnt even do anything.

I got this dresser for free and plan on using gel stain on it. I can’t decide between the two styles though, thoughts??
Dark mahogany normally has my heart but the black is really catching my eye. I would really like to sell this when I’m all done.
I’m sure lighting and staging plays a big role but I do like the colors, just can’t decide which one I like best.

I just got this cute guy and the past owner wasn’t sure of his age. Is there anyway to tell??

Thank you in advance, btw this is a temporary tank!! We got him a 55 gallon we are just waiting on the stand.

I recently got gecko with his 2 tanks (55 and a 10 gallon which he is in right now until I get this one deep cleaned and ready ) there is a crack on the larger tank. The guy we got him from had him in it the entire time with the crack which was i think a few years. Is there anyway to make this safe??? I planned on putting it on the back side with cork board covering the back, maybe tape over the crack and entire glass panel. Even if I can just make it safe temporarily until we can get another one. Thank you!!

I would’ve been better prepared for him but I was only in the market for a dresser and he just happened to be included!

I feel like this is the most budget friendly, but I’m not too sure about the safety/ sturdiness. I am not too sure of the size of my tank (I just got him and everything he came with today, super unexpected), I think it’s a long twenty gallon though. Just wondering what everyone uses for their tanks. Thanks in advance!

This is not his forever tank btw. I got him today unexpectedly, we were given his larger tank I just have to clean it and set it up for him. I just want to know more about this little guy. To me it looks like a new tail but I’m brand new to geckos.
