I am driving a 2016 Golf R with some small mods. Love the car. But it is time to get something newer.
My local dealership have a couple of GTI edition 50s, arriving next week, they are asking about €44k, both are without a performance pack.
New R, if I spec it with all I want will be over €55k.

So, I need to decide, should I get a GTI, wait for a deal or lottery win for a new R, or just keep driving my 160k km golf until they invent flying cars?
