I’m a new hobbyist and got my hands on this pendant watch. I can’t exactly figure out how this setting lever is supposed to be spring loaded. Any advice will help, thank you.

What am I missing?

I’m a beginner hobby watchmaker and made the mistake of messing with this pendant watch. I can’t for the life of me figure out how this setting lever is supposed to be spring loaded. Please help.
