I have very vague memories of stealing my father's kindle to play this game he already had downloaded. Its a Japanese 8 bit rpg, top down or Pokémon esque camera/map angle, not a platformer. Slightly dark shading for what i see for a lot of similar games. It followed a boy with slight amnesia, I think something happened to his family. You meet a navi knock off pixie early off in the game in this dark void/cave stage level, I think its supposed to be a flashback? There are knights you have to defeat with rhino style helmets. I was quite young so I dont recall a huge amount of the plot, and never got very far in the game as I was stealing someone else's tablet lol
