Fired

Former Walmart Associate.

So...

This happened Saturday. This has hurt me emotionally, physically, and financially.

I was terminated for theft, but I have the original receipts and matching bank statements proving the purchases were legitimate. Local management refused to look at them. They failed to follow investigation procedures. Local management terminated me without reviewing the evidence. They ignored the evidence and also misinterpretated the evidence.

I escalated this to corporate.

So corporate basically told me that if I am not reinstated by the store manager on Thursday, my case will be escalated to corporate. That I need to call them back then and go from there. They will not do anything yet because they have a chain of command. The first step is the coach. Because the coach fired me and refused to look at the full picture of the evidence, he said my next step is the store manager. I was in shock being accused of theft the first time. My PTSD was triggered the second time for the power core. That did not go well. Everything that happened after that was blurry. I folded. Signed a sworn statement. Forgot I had the receipt for the power core. Couldn't properly defend myself. Was told to leave the premises immediately without further review. I was under duress with multiple witnesses. Couldn't deal with it anymore.
